Josh Timms Builders is a residential homebuilder serving the Upstate, including Greenville, Spartanburg, and Anderson. We developed a complete brand identity that reflects the care, craftsmanship, and integrity behind every home they build. From strategic foundation to visual execution, the goal was to create a brand that feels established, trustworthy, and personal. The result is a cohesive system that aligns the builder’s values with a refined visual presence, carried consistently across logo design, brand assets, and a custom website built to support long-term growth.

The Client

Josh Timms Builders is a custom home construction company based in Simpsonville, South Carolina, serving Greenville and communities throughout Upstate South Carolina. Established in 2015, the company builds fully custom homes on clients’ existing lots or land. They serve homeowners planning new residential construction throughout areas including Greenville, Simpsonville, Greer, Travelers Rest, Anderson, Easley, and Lake Greenwood.

The Challenge

Josh Timms Builders had built a strong reputation for custom homes, but their brand did not fully reflect the experience, craftsmanship, and level of service behind the company. As the business grew, they needed a more cohesive identity that could better communicate who they were, establish a stronger presence in the Upstate market, and still retain the personal, hands-on nature of working directly with Josh and his team.

The logo was designed with thoughtful symbolism and clarity at its core. A custom “JT” monogram forms a simple, abstract home shape, visually tying the founder’s name to the purpose of the business. This mark reinforces the idea of building with intention while remaining clean, modern, and highly versatile. Supported by a strong wordmark and multiple logo lockups, the identity is built to work seamlessly across signage, apparel, digital platforms, and printed materials, ensuring consistency wherever the brand shows up.
